With the speed boat we arrived at the tunnels some time before the most busses arrive, thus the place is not so much crowded. Hang is an excellent guide and they (for an additional fee) picked me up by boat at my hotel that was outside the city center.

Getting to the tunnels by speedboat was a delightful and scenic experience, and the breeze helped temper the heat. The tunnels themselves were fascinating to explore and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about their history. Would definitely recommend!

This was an incredible day. Taking the speedboat was the first win as the heat of HCM was blown away with the quick journey. Our tour guide was amazing. She spoke excellent English, was exceedingly informative & could answer any question. Taking the opportunity to shoot military weapons was another way to appreciate what the soldiers went through. Plus it was great fun! It is expensive but understandably so. Overall, it was a fantastic tour & a must-do for any visitor to HCM.
